Short Biography

Bao Zhao is a tenure-track professor and PhD supervisor at Beijing Institute of Technology in Zhuhai. He leads the Multifunctional Autonomous Structures and Systems (MASS) Lab. Before joining Beijing Institute of Technology, he was an RGC Junior Research Fellow and a Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University hosted by Prof. Songye Zhu. He received his PhD in Structural Mechanics from ETH Zürich supervised by Prof. Eleni Chatzi and Dr. Andrea Colombi.
